Chapel Presentation, Hamptons Visit, and Early Registration Discount!

It has been so wonderful meeting with you all and I am exceedingly proud of the progress that the busy-bees have made! I am also proud of the goals they have set for themselves and the commitment to hard work they have. I can't wait to see how they end this school year. We are in the final quarter of the year and it is their time to soar!

Coming Up:

Monday, March 28th: Our class is leading chapel with a presentation of the Bible story of Noah and the Ark. We would love for you to join us!!!

Wednesday, March 30th: Visit to Hamptons Senior Center. Please bring a booster seat for your child on this day. We will leave the school at 9:45 am.

Friday, April 1st: Last Day for the Early Registration discount and Summer Camp registration discount!

Next week in Reading:

Our theme will be plants and what they need to grow and survive. We will study place-value in math, and group numbers by tens and ones. The math minute this week is skip-counting (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and so on). Grouping tens and counting the ones in double-digit numbers (ex: 24, 35, 42, 56, 62, etc), would be a wonderful activity that connects to what we are studying this week. Drawing lines, circles, etc. and grouping them this way is reflective of activities we are doing in class. In Bible we will be studing what it means to be a leader.

Highlights from our week:

Child Evangelism Fellowship led our chapel! And presented a fun puppet show!

A special visit from The Beck family got our kids very excited about missions!

We learned about different types of clouds and observed "rain" in our classroom!

There was a very cute "huddle" of sorts during our rainy-recess! Love these sweet bees!
 Evaleen leading calendar corner!
We had a foot-washing lesson as part of a larger Easter lesson.

We enjoyed an Agape meal with the rest of the Sonshine kids!
Mrs. Warner reads about the last supper Jesus had with His disciples before our meal.
