Occupations, Field Trip, and More!

Greetings, wonderful K/1 parents! I hope that this blog finds you happy and feeling blessed! I, for one, am so blessed by the amazing kiddos you are raising! They are the brightest busy bees ever and I am so glad I get to be their teacher!




There's a lot coming up, here's all the buzz:

Tuesday, March 8th: Field Trip to Children's Museum (9:30 am-2:00 pm).

Thursday, March 17th: Fundraiser at Old Spaghetti Factory! 4:30-8:00: 15% goes back to Sonshine!

Thursday, March 24th: Half-Day/ Preview Night 6:30 pm

Friday, March 25th: Spring Student-Led Conferences

Monday, March 28th: The Busy Bees Chapel Presentation at 10:00 am (please come if you can)!

Wednesday, March 30th: Field Trip to Hampton's Senior Center (time to be announced).





            Veronica and Makenna received our Fruit of the Spirit award for February: Love!


The Lee/Palmer Bunch presented a wonderful chapel program on Monday!

In reading:





We will also be learning about different types of workers in our community, what they do, and discuss occupations that the students find interesting or want to know more about! We will also talk about what missionaries do, and be in prayer for missionaries around the world since it is Missions Month!




 In Bible we will be studying the theme of God's written word.

For Wacky-Wednesday, the classroom had about 20 wacky things for the students to find and record! Hee, hee, hee...








Read on, bees, read on! We piled on as many minutes during class this week as we could!



           Pastor Cary made a breakfast for lunch! Waffles, anyone? With strawberries on top!!!

Mrs. Warner whipped up some green eggs and ham! The kids loved them!

And...we read over 15,000 minutes!!! Mrs. Warner got "stuck on reading"!!!
